I still remember wanting a pair of Chanel Double-C stud earrings in my twenties...that is, until the day I saw a woman wearing a HUGE gold pair, encrusted with "diamonds", clearly fake...except I don't think the wearer even knew, or cared, about the real thing.
Recently, when I saw a small pair of earrings emblazoned with "Marc Jacobs" on them, I was reminded that the more things change, the more they stay the same. I'm not sure if the designer was referencing the same era, but these choices are a fun, sardonic, and clearly more authentic way to wear a logo.
