I like looking at the pictures from Fashion Week, but I also like seeing what the audience and models wore TO the show for practical ideas on how to put outfits together.
On the left, Amanda Brooks, Barneys' Fashion Director takes the lead on a now-popular color pairing: camel and navy blue. I especially love those pants!
Long time readers of this blog may recognize the model on the right, Frida Gustavsson---last year, I posted a picture of her leaving yet another fashion show wearing a military style jacket and leggings. This year she combines the menswear trend (a fedora) with ankle high boots and a poncho.
On a completely different topic, I went to Target yesterday at ten a.m. only to find the shelves completely bare of Missoni goods. So bare that I had to ask a store clerk if there had been a mistake: the Missoni display was there but the racks were filled with the Exhiliration line. Unfortunately, there hadn't been a mistake---the store had sold out within the first hour! There are still some online pieces available as of this morning, so I may take my search there...
