Dressing in our 40s (and beyond) shouldn't mean an end to dressing with style. It just means wearing clothes that are more flattering to our changing bodies, and finding a look that is youthful without being young.
In this blog, you'll find timeless, age-appropriate pieces. I try to limit selections to under $150, but I'll occasionally veer into higher priced choices to illustrate an "It" item, a celebrity favorite or for things worthy of a splurge.
I also try to find manufacturers that provide clothes in a wide range of sizes, and to select brands that offer the best value for the price.
Sometimes I'll come across a sale item that's just too good to pass up, and I'll want to share it with my readers. Since sizes are usually limited, I know it can be disappointing to find that the $400 dress marked down to $150 is sold out in your size. But I liken this to outlet shopping: sometimes it's frustrating, but it's a thrill to find something at 75% off!
My goal for this site is to create a site of highly edited selections where women can find clothes, find an occasional celebrity look-for-less or learn about upcoming trends . Like stopping in to your favorite shop during your lunch hour, I hope my site is someplace where you can browse, get a few ideas, and every now and then leave with something cute.
