I may be showing my age, but I remember my post-grad job interview outfit: navy skirt suit, pumps and pantyhose. Thankfully, I did not wear a blouse with a bow.
I avoided that look for years after, and eventually I no longer worked in corporate America, but it looks like suits are making a come back. Although perhaps not with last year's pussy-bow blouse.
I'm seriously considering buying a suit this season, if only because a suit makes professional dressing that much easier. The 21st century versions are also more feminine and flattering---no androgynous looks in any of these!
