It would only make sense to end the "White" series with white shoes, but...I just couldn't do it.
You see, I don't think white shoes are that flattering. The draw the eye down, and no matter what you're wearing, the only thing anyone will be looking at are your White Marshmallow shoes. Which may be why nude shoes are so popular on the red carpet---because your leg looks like one big elongated line. Which is always better than calling to mind an upside down QTip.
So instead, I thought I'd end the series with what I think is THE perfect white piece, something so nice I am seriously considering buying nothing else for the rest of the summer just to own. Worn with jeans and a white tank, over a black maxi dress, with white cropped pants or a skirt---this jacket will top them all.
