Over 40 Style

Last year, I had two white purses I wore. All. The. Time. They went with everything (no kidding) and they made whatever I was wearing seem that much more summery. But by the middle of July, even though I should have retired the nylon one, I didn't. By the end of August, though, both the nylon and leather one were stained beyond repair and in the garbage can. Whether it was pen marks, coffee spots, or just plain wear and tear, white purses just do not hold up that well. Maybe this is only news to me, (am I supposed to throw out purses after 'a season'?) or maybe I am careless with my purses---but in any case, I deliberately tried to find inexpensive bags to choose from because I don't think a white purse that you use for everyday wear will last long enough to be worth an investment.
