If I could buy just one thing (for myself) this season, these pants would be it!
I've long ago learned how invaluable having a well-made, well fitting pair of black pants is to my wardrobe. I have black wool pants, black bootcut jeans, black capris, and black jeggings in constant rotation. But there was always something a little...utilitarian...about wearing black pants to a dressy event and I tried to avoid it unless I was travelling and everything had to be multipurpose. Or, going from day-to-evening and couldn't change outfits beforehand. But now, with this pair of slim black cigarette pants in evening-perfect satin, no one can mistake my outfit for officewear.
