I'm listing boot cut styles first in this series because just about every TV show that airs a segment on "Jeans styles for women over 40" inevitably comes to the conclusion that THE most flattering style for ladies our age is the boot cut.
To which I would have to respectfully disagree.
There can't be just one style that works for women based on their age. There are still factors such as height, shape, weight: STYLE that matter more than the year you were born. Having said that, I do understand the reasoning behind this advice. Timeless cuts that do the most to balance proportions are always a good place to start.
But not necessarily a good place to end.
